9.4 JBlend
With JBlend, you can manage all J2ME compatible Java applications on the device,
including download, installation, rename, upgrade and deletion of these applications.
Installing a Java Program
1. Select Start > Programs > JBlend.
2. Select Install, select whether to install the program from local storage or a website.
• To download and install a Java program from a website, select Install > Download.
Connect a default website via the Explorer Internet Mobile and then follow prompts
on the screen to complete the installation.
• To install the Java program from local storage, select Install > Local Install >
Search MIDlet. Select the program and then follow on-screen prompts to complete
the installation.
NOTE: For more information about the functionality of JBlend, select Start > Help when JBlend is in
use.
9.5 Profile Manager
Profiles define how the device reacts when you receive a call or a message, how your
keypad sounds when you press a key and more. Select or customize the most suitable
profile for your environment, such as when you are in a meeting or outdoors. The
profiles available are: Normal, Silent, Meeting, Outdoor and Headset. Each of them can
be renamed or customized to fit your own needs.
Editing a Profile
1. Select Start > Programs > Profile Manager.
2. Select a profile and then select Menu > Edit.
3. Select the item next to Event: in order to show the drop-down list for events.
