System Requirements
Refer to the appropriate section below for the minimum and
recommended computer system requirements necessary to use
this printer.
For Windows
To use your printer, you need to have Microsoft
Me, 98, or 2000 installed.
USB connection:
To connect your printer via a standard, shielded USB 1.1 cable,
you need a Windows XP, 98, or 2000 pre-installed PC equipped
with a USB port. For Windows Me users, your PC must be a
Windows Me pre-installed model or upgraded from a
Windows 98 pre-installed model. To use the USB 2.0 cable, you
need a Windows XP or 2000 Pre-installed PC equipped with a USB
2.0 port.
If you want to connect your printer to a IEEE 1394 port, you need
a Windows XP, Me, or 2000 pre-installed PC equipped with a IEEE
1394 port and the printer must be connected via a shielded IEEE
1394 cable.
