Air filter cleaning procedure
Clean the air filter regularly to remove dirt and dust. This
prevents carburetor failure, difficult starting, decreased
engine output, and wear of engine parts. Air filter
cleaning provides a proper fuel economy. Clean the air
filter every 20 hours or less.
Also, clean the air filter when operating the machine
under severe operating conditions.
1. Remove the two clips (A) on the air filter cover.
2. Remove the air filter cover (B).
3. Remove the air filter (D) from the air filter holder (C).
4. Clean the air filter with soapy water.
Note: The contamination of the air filter used for a
long time cannot be thoroughly eliminated. Replace
the air filter regularly. If the air filter is deformed or
damaged, replace it with a new one.
5. Dry the air filter.
6. Clean the inside of the air filter cover. Use
compressed air or a brush.
7. Install the air filter.
8. Attach the air filter cover and fasten the two clips.

Fuel filter inspection procedure
● Remove the fuel filter (A) from the fuel tank after
every 20 hours of operation to remove dust. If the
clogging is severe, replace the filter with a new one.
● If the fuel filter is clogged, the engine speed will not
increase or the speed will fluctuate.
