The gas spring and the electric lifting mechanism
should only be replaced by a VELA technician or a
person trained in this field.

2.0.1. ATTACHING THE BACKREST

Press the locking pin spring (1) and push the backrest arm through
the hole. Tighten the quick release handle (2) afterwards.

Note: The backrest arm must be pushed through completely so
the pin spring locks the backrest arm. Make sure that the backrest
arm cannot be pulled out again.

2.0.2. HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT (ELECTRIC)

Is operated via two switches (up/down) located on the under-
side of either the right or left armrest. The armrest can easily be
moved to the opposite side.
Note: Height function should only be used continuously for

one minute, then a nine-minute break should follow.

2.0.3. SOFT TOUCH CONTACT (ELECTRIC)*

Is operated by pressing/pulling the switch that is located ot
the underside of either the right or left armrest. Let go of the
switch when you reached the wanted sitting height.
Note: The height function should only be used continuously
for one minute, then a nine-minute break should follow.

2.0.4. ADJUSTMENT OF SEAT HEIGHT (MANUAL)

Adjust the seat height by pulling up the front lever placed at
your right hand.
