QUICK START GUIDE
TS130 Wheel Rake
ASSEMBLY TIPS
 A simple method of assembly is to attach the 3 point frame to the tractor, and then attach the
rest of the components while it is mounted.
 Wheels must be installed in the correct direction. See accompanying reference images.
 Although it is not shown in the images on the following pages, the machine does come with a
stand. It is installed in the receiving tube of the main 3-point frame.
STARTUP ESSENTIALS
 Each wheel hub contains a bearing that must be greased. Use a grease gun to pack grease into
the chamber each time before use.
 The operator's manual is primarily geared toward larger wheel rakes but contains some useful
information that is relevant to this machine.
 Hay should be raked with the baling process in mind. The windrow should be an appropriate
size for the baler. Typically the width of the windrow should match the width of the pickup.
Varying the windrow width is achieved in two ways:
o The rake's wheels can be placed across a full swath's width of mown hay for maximum
windrow size. They can also be placed so that the wheels straddle only a partial swath,
to produce a narrower windrow.
o If a large windrow is needed, the hay can be raked to one side, after which it can be
brought in the opposite direction on the opposite side of the windrow. This will cause
more hay to be placed into the windrow that was just created and essentially
combines two swaths into one windrow.
