Emergency Preparedness Guidance
Talkabout two-way radios with National Oceanic and
Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) weather alerts and
built-in flashlight are an important addition to an at-home
emergency preparedness kit.
The next time disaster strikes, you may not have much time
to act. Learn how to protect yourself and handle emergency
situations by planning ahead
Review the use of the Motorola Talkabout radios. Discuss
and practice how to communicate with each other and
request help from others. It is recommended to discuss with
other members of your community to set up a
communication network. Discuss how you will get important
information during a disaster and practice how to receive the
NOAA weather alert updates on your Motorola Talkabout
radios. Lastly, make sure your Motorola Talkabout radios
and other items are fully charged (we recommend you check
every 6 months) and that you keep a set of spare batteries
available.
"The Motorola Solutions Foundation, the charitable and
