DC Detection Circuit for SP Terminal
A
B
This circuit is to protect the speaker from overheating if the Amplifier Power IC(IC3301) malfunctions.
[ When L+ position becomes 0V ]
As the Amplifier Power IC is single power supply, the bias voltage for SP terminal is always about 8V. Therefore the voltage of point A
is 5.1V, point B is 6.9V, and then Q3451 becomes ON. Then the voltage of DC PROTECT becomes 7V.
