Changing your hearing aid domes
You should change your domes every 3 months or more often. For example, if a dome is filled with earwax,
replace it with a new one. If the hearing aids sound more quiet, this might indicate that new domes are needed.
See also "Changing the wax filter", page 35.
If you don't know your dome size, mount different sizes, one at a time, on the receiver and test them in your ear.
Choose a dome size that fits snuggly, yet comfortably in the ear canal.
NOTE:
Incorrect dome replacement can result in a dome being left in your ear when you remove your
hearing aid.
If you don't feel confident performing this task, please contact Jabra Enhance support. See the back
page for contact information.
CAUTION:
If you suspect that you have a dome stuck in your ear, consult a medical professional. These objects
can be harmful and can cause an infection in your ear.
Use only accessories intended for use with your hearing aids. Contact Jabra Enhance for further
information and ordering.
Only use original consumables from the manufacturer (e.g., domes and wax filters).
