Problem
Picture is different from the
position setting.
Upper part of the picture is
black when the camera is in
a horizontal orientation.
Camera suddenly starts to
pan by itself.
Periodically check the power cord and plug.
Problem
Power cord sheathing is
damaged.
Power cord, connectors, or
power plug becomes hot
during operation.
Power cord becomes warm
or hot when it is bent or
stretched during use.
Cause and Recommended Action
• Adjust the picture using the preset menu and a
scene file.
• This is caused by the camera's internal cover. It
does not indicate malfunction.
• If the cleaning function is turned on, this is normal
does not indicate malfunction. Check the CLEAN-
ING settings.
• If the cleaning function is not turned on, this symp-
tom could be due to noise.
Cause and Recommended Action
• The power cord, connector, or power plug is damaged. Continued
use creates the risk of electric shock and fire. Immediately unplug the
power plug and contact a qualified service person or system installer
for servicing.
