After chemical sterilization, thoroughly wash the probe with sterilized water.
Residual chemicals can cause an adverse reaction on the bodies of the operator or patient.

Practical liquid 1.62W/V%
Be sure to wash and fully dry the probe before sterilization.
See section 5-1.
Soak the insertion portion and handle in a chemical solution at the
shortest time where effective sterilization can be achieved.
Sufficiently rinse the probe using sterilized water to remove
chemicals.
