Taking Close-up Pictures

Select [Macro Mode] from the recording menu.
Select the setting.
• [a] is displayed during AF Macro Mode and [.] is displayed during Macro
Zoom Mode.
• To cancel, select [OFF].
This mode allows you to take close-up pictures of a subject, e.g. when taking pictures of
flowers. You can take pictures of a subject as close as 10 cm (0.33 feet) from the lens by
moving the zoom lever upmost to Wide (1×).
• The focus range changes in steps.
