REMOVING THE SIDES FOR SIDE TRANSFER
The Brookfield chair sides can be removed to aid with side transfer.
To remove the sides the chair must be first put into a recline position (see fig. 11). When in an upright
seated position the back of the chair will lock the sides into place. Do not attempt to remove the sides
before the chair has been put into the recline position (see fig. 12)
Once the chair has been put into the reclined position the sides can be easily lifted away from the chair
(see fig. 13)
