    INTRODUCTION The Brookfield dual motor lift chair by Aidapt allows you to elevate your feet for total comfort and recline the back ensuring a relaxed comfortable position for the user. Also carers should stand clear of the chair when lowering. WARNING: This chair is not suitable for use by children. Any children or animals within the vicinity must be supervised by an adult at all times and should never be allowed to play with the chair.

    CHAIR PLACEMENT (CONTINUED): Caution: Make sure there is no obstruction behind or in front of the chair for a safe recline and lift during operation. The area between the seat and the footrest should be kept clear to avoid a pinching hazard while the chair is operating.

  • Page 10 REMOVING THE SIDES FOR SIDE TRANSFER The Brookfield chair sides can be removed to aid with side transfer. To remove the sides the chair must be first put into a recline position (see fig. 11). When in an upright seated position the back of the chair will lock the sides into place. Do not attempt to remove the sides before the chair has been put into the recline position (see fig.
