Rotate the mode dial to motion picture recording/playback, still picture
recording/playback or turning the unit OFF.

Quick starts

Quick starts are available when the mode is set to [
When [QUICK START] is [ON], the unit responds as follows to LCD monitor
operations:

Setting [QUICK START]
• [QUICK START] is [ON] at the time of purchase.
● The quick start standby is cancelled and the unit turns OFF (status indicator

• When quick start standby mode continues for more than about 5 minutes
• When the mode dial is rotated
