Configuring Your Handheld - Palm PalmModem Handbook

To set up your Macintosh for a remote HotSync operation:
1. Click the HotSync Manager icon
menu (upper-right corner of your screen).
2. From the HotSync menu, select HotSync Setup, and on the Serial
Port Settings tab make sure Modem is checked.
3. Adjust the Modem Setup options as needed.
4. From the File menu, choose Quit.

Configuring your handheld

Before you use your PalmModem connectivity kit, you must configure
your handheld to communicate with it.
To prepare your handheld for a modem HotSync operation:
1. Tap the Applications icon
2. Tap the HotSync icon
3. Tap Modem.
4. Tap the pick list below the icon and select a modem configuration.
