Troubleshooting

Description

The EndoPAT™x
device does not
switch on (the
POWER LED on the
device is not on)

Endo PAT™x Device
Possible Cause
The EndoPAT™x
device power is
switched off.
Power cable is not
plugged to the
power outlet.
Power cable is not
connected to the
EndoPAT™x device.
Fuse is burnt
EndoPAT™x power
switch is off.
Communication
cable between PC
station and En-
doPAT™x device is
not connected.
Another application
is assigned to the
COM port.
The communication
cable is connected to
the wrong COM port.
Action
Switch on the EndoPAT™x device.
Switch off the EndoPAT™x device.
Plug the power cable to the power outlet.
Switch on the EndoPAT™x device.
Switch off the EndoPAT™x device.
Plug the power cable to the EndoPAT™x device.
Switch on the EndoPAT™x device.
Switch off the EndoPAT™x device.
Unplug the power cable to the EndoPAT™x device.
With a screwdriver No 1 or smaller remove the
unit (1) from the filter.
Replace the burnt fuse located on the topside (2)
behind the switch. Note: On the bottom side (3) is a
spare fuse.
Return the fuse holder to the switch, plug in the
power cable and turn on the EndoPAT™x device.
Verify that the orange LED is on.
Switch on the EndoPAT™x device.
Verify that the communication cable is connected
properly.
Close all background applications.
Verify that the COM port connected to the En-
doPAT™x device is not in use by another application.
Plug communication cable into the other COM port.
Try setting another COM port in the application.
