Precautions for Use

  • Keep a minimum distance around the device for sufficient ventilation.
  • The openings should never be blocked by newspapers, curtains, tablecloths, etc.
  • Do not place the device on open flames such as lighted candles.
  • Batteries should be disposed properly. Take them to the collection container in order to protect the environment.
  • Device for use in a temperate and/or tropical climate.
  • Do not expose this product near dripping or splashing water. No objects filled with liquids such as vases should be placed on the unit.


Risk of explosion if battery is incorrectly replaced. Please only replace it with an identical or a similar battery. Dispose of used batteries according to instructions.

IMPORTANT SAFETY WARNING

  • To reduce radio frequency exposure when you're using your walkie-talkies, hold the handset at least 5cm (2 inches) from your face.
  • Never use your walkie-talkies outdoors in a thunderstorm.
  • Don't use your PMR in the rain.
  • If your PMR becomes wet, turn it off and remove the battery pack. Dry the battery compartment and leave the battery cover off for a few hours. Don't use the PMR until it is completely dry.
  • Keep the PMR out of the reach of babies and young children.
  • Battery should not be exposed to excessive heat such as sunshine, fire or the like.
  • The device complies with RF specifications when used near your body. Keep a distance of 2.5 cm from the body. Ensure that the device accessories, such as a device case and device holster, are not composed of metal components. Keep the device away from your body to meet the distance requirement.

  • Never use the binoculars to look directly at the sun or in the direct proximity of the sun. Doing so may result in a risk of blindness.

  • Do not project the light towards your face or another person.

BATTERY INFORMATION

Walkie-Talkie

Each Walkie-Talkie works with 3 x 1.5V type AAA / LR03 batteries (batteries not included).

  1. The battery compartment is located at the back of the unit. Before installing the batteries, first remove the belt-clip located on the compartment. Pull the clip latch and lift the belt-clip up to remove it.
  2. Using a screwdriver, open the battery compartment cover.
  3. Install the 6 x AAA/LR03 batteries, three in each unit, observing the polarity indicated at the bottom of the battery compartment, and as per the diagram shown opposite.
  4. Close the battery compartment, tighten the screw and put the belt-clip back.

Torchlight

  1. With a screwdriver, open the battery cover at the bottom of the product.
  2. Replace the 2 x AAA/LR03 (1.5V) batteries observing the polarity marking inside the battery compartment.
  3. Close the battery compartment and tighten the screw.

Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged. Rechargeable batteries are to be removed from the toy before being charged. Rechargeable batteries are only to be charged under adult supervision. Different types of batteries or new and used batteries are not to be mixed. Only batteries of the same or equivalent type as recommended are to be used. Batteries are to be inserted with the correct polarity. Exhausted batteries are to be removed from the toy. The supply terminals are not to be short circuited. Do not throw batteries into a fire. Remove the batteries if you are not going to use the game for a long period of time.

Battery shall not be exposed to excessive heat such as sunshine, fire or the like.


Mal-function or loss of memory may be caused by strong frequency interference or electrostatic discharge. Should any abnormal function occur, remove the batteries and insert them again.

START-UP GUIDE

This section explains how to use your new walkie-talkies. It is recommended to read the complete user guide for detailed instructions and safety warnings.

Walkie-Talkies

  1. Remove the belt-clip of each walkie-talkie and install the batteries according to instructions above in the batteries information chapter.
  2. To turn your walkie-talkie on and off, slide the ON/OFF interrupter to ON/OFF.
  3. To talk to your friend, press and hold the TALK button and speak into the microphone located on top of the unit. Release the button once you're done talking and to listen to the other end.

Note: it is recommended to use the walkie-talkies from a distance between 1.5 and 120 meters and in a flat open area. The transmission range may vary depending on the relief and weather conditions.

Binoculars

Take the binoculars in both hands and hold them to your eyes. Fold them so that you see a single circle when looking through them with both eyes.

Torchlight

To turn your torchlight on and off, slide the ON/OFF interrupter to ON/OFF.

Toy compass

Find your way back with the compass!

Note: It is a pretend compass; no real functions.
