N ex t-Function M emory
The Next Function Memory " tells" the VCR what to do after
rewinding. * Before continuing, ensure that the VCR is in stop
mode.
a– For Automatic Start Of Playback After Tape Rewind . . .
. . . press REW , then press PLAY within 2 seconds.
b– For Automatic Power Off After Tape Rewind . . .
. . . press REW , then press PO W ER within 2 seconds.
c– For Automatic Timer Standby After Tape Rewind . . .
. . . press REW , then press TIM ER within 2 seconds.
N O TE:
If you want the "next function" to automatically start when the
counter reads "0H 00M 00S" (instead of at the beginning of the
tape), press C. M EM O RY so that the counter memory indicator
appears on the front display panel before pressing REW .

Counter Reset
RESET CO UN TER TO ZERO
Press C.RESET .

N O TE:
By pressing the D ISPLAY button, you can change the
display to show the counter reading, channel number
or clock time. (Channel number is not displayed during
playback.)
Counter M emory
When REW or FF is pressed, with the Counter Memory
activated, the tape will return to the counter position "zero".
ACTIVATE CO UN TER
MEMO RY
Press C.RESET during playback at a point you want to have

quick access to later. The counter reads "0H 00M 00S".
Then press C.M EM O RY . The Counter Memory indicator
("M") in the front display panel lights.
RETURN TO CO UN TER
PO SITIO N ZERO
Press STO P (during playback), then press REW or FF .

The tape rewinds or fast-forwards and stops at approxi-
mately " 0H 00M 00S" automatically.
● To cancel Counter Memory, press
