• Use protective masks in accordance with En149
• Use other types of proper personal protective equipment, depending on the type of work involved.

Device assembly:
Connect the upper part to the centre tube holder and screw the screw into place.
Connect the middle part to the motor housing bracket and screw the screw into place.
Safety guard installation:
Do not operate the trimmer without the safety guard
To install the safety guard
Tighten the partially loosened screws securing the head (11) to the head housing.
Install the guard (9) on the head housing so that the housing latch (9) snaps in.
Make sure that the cutting string is not between the cover (9) and the device body.
Attach the cover (9) using the loosened cover mounting screws (11).
To start the device:
Press the switch lock and the switch at the same time
Remember not to start the scythe when there is an bystander nearby.
Clean the area before starting the work.
Changing the reel:
1. Make sure that the switch is in the off position, remove the plug from the socket.
2. Tighten and turn the reel holder, remove the inner cover from the reel, then remove it from the inside
and replace it with a new one.
3. Push the reel back into the reel holder and tighten clockwise ensuring it is securely installed.
GRASS mowing:
Do not mow wet grass. The best mowing results are achieved when the grass is dry. Insert the
extension cord through the back of the arm, making sure that it is always behind the user when
cutting.
