Intended use

This device is a very versatile electric heat gun that can be used for many different
applications, such as:
 Removing paint
 Thawing of metal water pipes
 Shaping and welding plastics
 Shrinking of heat shrink tubing
 Soldering
The heat gun has two settings:
1. Low heat (position 1): for use when the work surface or the surroundings must
not become too hot.
Suggested: plastic bending, plastic shrinking.
2. High heat (position 2): for faster heating of the working surface, whereby you
can also operate the gun from a greater distance.
Suggested: welding plastic, stripping paint, de-icing pipes, removing
vinyl floor tiles, soldering, lighting BBQs.
Paint removal: Do not heat the paint too long as it will burn and be difficult to
remove. Start with the low heat setting and move the gun slowly back and forth until
the paint flakes and starts to bubble. Remove the paint immediately with a scraper or
a shaving hook. Try to heat the paint just before the scraper so you can get a
continuous action.
