4 Operation
The maximum allowable weight for each
category is shown below.

4.7 Preset

The preset function allows the oven to start up at
a later time.
1. Press the "Preset" pad.
2. Use the number pads to enter the desired time.
3. Set a cooking program (except express cook-
ing).
4. Press the "Start" pad to confirm

4.8 Multistage cooking

The oven can be programmed up to 3 automatic
cooking sequences. Jet defrost and weight defrost
can only be set in the first sequence.
Example: The following example guides on how
to set a cooking program.

Microwave-cooking (with lower power level)
1. Input the jet defrost cooking program.
2. Press the "Memory" and "Time" pads one at a
time. ( or press "Time" once).
3. Input the first stage of the microwave cooking
program.

Express cooking cannot be set in the
multistage cooking program.

4.9 Child lock

The lock prevents unsupervised operation by chil-
dren.
To set the child lock: In standby mode, press
and hold "Cancel" pad for 3 seconds, a beep will
sound, the oven will auto enter into the child lock
mode and the lock indicator light will switch on. In
the locked state, all pads are disabled.
To cancel the child lock: Press and hold the
"Cancel" pad for 3 seconds, a beep will sound and
the lock indicator light will switch off.

4.10 Microwave cooking techniques

• Place the food in a microwave approved cooking
utensil and place it centrally on the glass tray.
Placing a heavy load on the perimeter of the
glass tray could cause the glass tray to dislodge
from the rotating base. Arrange the food care-
fully. Place thickest areas towards outside of the
cooking utensil.
• Do not place food directly on the glass tray un-
less the food is self contained and will not spill.
When cooking more than one item, arrange the
food so that the items are evenly spaced.
• Watch the cooking time. Cook for the minimum
time indicated in the recipe and add more as
needed. Food which is severely overcooked can
smoke or ignite.
• Cover foods while cooking to prevent spattering
and to help the food cook evenly.
