Controlling an Onkyo cassette tape deck
The z connector of the Onkyo compact disc player must be
connected to the HT-R500 (refer to page 16).
1. Press CD.

1–9, +10, 0 : Use to enter numeric values.

Starts playback of CD.
Stops playback, fast forward or fast reverse.
Fast forwards the CD.
Fast reverses the CD.
Lets playback pause temporarily.
Skips to the beginning of the next track.
Skips to the beginning of the current or previous
track.
This button is valid when the CD changer is used
and selects the disc to be played.
s : Plays side A (the side facing the front) of tape.
e : Stops playback, recording, fast forward or
rewinding.
f : Fast forwards the tape.
d : Rewinds the tape.

Plays side B (the side facing the rear) of the tape.
