Follow these general guidelines while sanding the panel:
Do not sand the panel dry. If the surface dries up, dampen the panel before
continuing.
Replace the disc with a new one if it becomes loaded with sanding residue
or it is no longer sanding effectively. This prevents swirl marks on the
surface of the panel.
Avoid sharp edges or corners of the panel when sanding. This will prolong
the life of the foam sanding disc.
Sand the panel evenly without staying in one area for extended periods to
achieve a uniform finish.
4.
Wipe the panel with a microfiber cloth
and examine under light. If scratches or
blemishes remain, continue sanding
with a 1000 grit disc until they are
removed.
