the scan handle for service or if you want to store the scan handle while not in use.

Attach Scan Handle

CT45-SH-UVN

The CT45-SH-UVN is compatible with a CT45, CT45 XP, or CT47 without a
protective boot attached:
1. Insert the top of the computer into the handle at a slight angle.
2. Push the unit down until the latch engages.
