Step 3 – Obtain an Accurate Result in 6

Your blood glucose test result appears after
the meter counts down to 0. On the
PRODIGY Audio and PRODIGY
Autocode talking meters, the speaker
announces the test result. This blood glu-
cose result is automatically stored in the
meter memory. Turn the meter off by remov-
ing the test strip. Discard the used test strip
carefully to avoid contamination.
For PRODIGY Audio and
PRODIGY Autocode Talking only.
You will hear a voice message, "The blood
glucose is (number) (unit)".
(Ex. 70 mg/dL).
Note: If you do not apply a blood

sample within 3 minutes, the meter will
automatically turn off. You must remove
the test strip and re-insert it again to
restart the test procedure.
