The SPACE COLLAR is used to provide a decorative enclosure for the FDT cassette where the unit protrudes below the level of the ceiling. The RCD will determine the fan speed, heat / cool / auto mode, and temperature selection for all units together. The units will then operate in the same mode, with each individual temperature sensor independently operating the heating or cooling of each system.
