Please read this manual carefully before starting the installation work to install the unit properly.

Difference between detected temperature and actual room temperature could cause troubles. The correction for detected temperature by the R/C cannot offset such temperature difference because it corrects the detected temperatures itself.

The time can be selected in the range from 30 to 240 minutes (in the unit of 10-minute). Note (1) Enable the “Sleep timer” setting from the remote control. If the setting is enabled, the timer operates at every time. (ii) Set OFF timer by hour Set the time to stop the unit after operation, in the range from 1 to 12 hours (in the unit of hour).

It can be selected from 10 steps in the range from “OFF 1 hour later” to “OFF 10 hours later”. After the sleep timer setting, the remaining time is displayed with progress of time in the unit of hour.
  • Page 53 '15 • KX-T-235 Once the fan motor is changed from OFF to ON during the thermostat ON, the indoor fan motor is not turned OFF even if the heat exchanger thermistor detects lower than 25°C. Note (1) When the defrost control signal is received, it complies with the fan control during defrosting. Once the hot start is completed, it will not restart even if the temperature on the heat exchanger thermistor drops.
