2 Electrical installation

Electrical installation can only be designed and made by personnel with the appropriate skills and competence.
Ensure all such work is done according to applicable laws and regulations.
1. Loosen the top cover fastening screws.
2. Remove the actuator's top cover to gain access
to connection terminals.
Make sure fuses are disconnected before the
connection of power supply cables is started.
3. Install the power supply
cables through the cable
glands on the right side and
connect them to the L, N, and
PE/ GND terminals X4
4. Install the control signal
cables through the
cable glands on the left
and connect them in
the X1 communication
connector according to the specification below.
Note: Dual CAN uses a connector with screw
connection.

2.1 Interface Pinout

The following chapter documents the pinout and placement of the communication terminal X1 for different
communication protocols/interfaces. Modbus, CAN and Dual CAN include an example for hooking up. The terminal is
always placed on the left side of the PCBA. Pin one is the first pin from the left for all interface terminals.
