Steps
1. Align the screw holes on the system board with the screw holes on the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.
2. Replace the two screws (M2x1.8) that secure the system board to the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.
3. Lift up the mylar that covers the I/O-board connector on the system board.
4. Connect the I/O-board cable to the connector on the system board and close the latch.
5. Adhere the tape that secures the I/O-board connector latch to the system board
6. Place the mylar over I/O-board connector on the system board.
7. Place the USB Type-C bracket on the system board.
8. Align the screw holes on the USB Type-C bracket to the screw holes on the system board.
9. Replace the two screws (M2x4) that secure the USB Type-C bracket to the system board.
10. Connect the keyboard-backlight cable to the system board and close the latch.
11. Connect the keyboard cable to the system board and close the latch.
12. Connect the touchpad cable to the system board and close the latch.
13. Connect the speaker cable to the connector on the system board.
14. Connect the fan cable to the connector on the system board.

4. Install the

6. Install the battery.

The system board can be removed with the heat sink attached to avoid breaking the thermal bond between the
heat sink and the system board.
