the resulting connecting conditions (traditional zero balancing,
protective earthing, required additional measures etc.).
Please observe the hazard information in section see „2 Hazard infor-
mation" on page 29 during installation.
Please note the insulation stripping length of the conductor being
connected, as indicated on the device.

Mounting and installation

Please read this entire section before commencing device installa-
tion.
Proceed as follows to install the gateway on a DIN rail in the power dis-
tribution panel:
• Disconnect the power distribution panel (see figure 2) and cover
any live parts (see safety rules).
• Remove the cover from the power distribution panel.
• Place the gateway onto the DIN rail (see fig. 3). You should be
able to read the letters on the device and in the display.
• Make sure that the catch spring engages properly and that the
device is securely seated on the rail (see figure 4).
