Press (LIST) .
The name assigned to the station currently
tuned appears in the display.

Press either side of (DISC/PRST)
repeatedly until you find the desired
station.
When no name is assigned to the selected
station, the frequency appears in the
display.

Press (ENTER) to tune in the desired
station.
Notes
• Once t he st at ion name or f requency has been
displayed f or f ive seconds, t he display goes back
t o it s normal mode. To t urn of f t he display, press
(LIST).
• When you connect a TV t uner, t he list -up
indicat ion w ill not appear in t he display of t he
unit .

Set t ing t he equalizer
You can select an equalizer curve for five
music types (Rock, Vocal, Groove, Techno, and
Custom).
You can store and adjust the equalizer settings
for frequency and level.
Select ing t he equalizer curve

Press (SOURCE) to select a source (tuner,
CD, or M D).

Press (SOUND) repeatedly until " EQ "
appears.
Each time you press (SOUND), the item
changes as follows:
EQ (equalizer curve) t POS (listening position)
t BAL (right-left) t F (front speaker volume)
t R (rear speaker volume) t
SUB (subw oofer volume) t VOL (volume) t
EQ (equalizer curve)

Press either side of (SEEK/AMS) to select
the desired equalizer curve.
Each time you press (SEEK/AMS), the item
changes as follows:
Rock y Vocal y Groove y Techno y Custom
y off y Rock
To cancel the equalizing effect, select "off."
After three seconds, the display returns to
the normal playback mode.
