Description of Operation

The 2-Zone Normally Open / Normally Closed Versa'larm™ alarm panel is powered by 120 VAC coming from standard wall
outlets and is transformed to 9-11.1 VDC. Installing a 9 Volt battery provides battery backup during power outages. The
power LED (green) will illuminate when powered. The Normally Open / Normally Closed Versa'larm™ is a multipurpose
alarm panel where a normally open switch (Zone 1 signaling device) such as a float switch, water sensor, sump probe
sensor, or any normally open "dry contact" can be wired to the alarm panel and a normally closed switch (Zone 2 signaling
device) such as a temperature or security switch is wired in series to the alarm panel.
The alarm panel buzzer will annunciate, alarm LED(s) (red) will illuminate, and the built in auxiliary contacts will be activated
when either Zone 1 or Zone 2 senors "change state" (normally open close or normally closed open). The auxiliary contacts
can be used to connect to an Alderon Industries Auto Dialer, an existing alarm security system, or building automation
system (BAS).
Pressing the "Alarm Silence" pushbutton will silence the buzzer and the alarm LED(s) (red) for the specific zone(s) will
remain on. When the alarm condition is cleared (sensor(s) reverting to normal condition), the system automatically resets
itself for the next alarm cycle.
