4. CHARGING A BATTERY
WARNING: Place the ba ery pack and charger on a flat non-flammable surface and away from
flammable material when re-charging the ba ery pack.
1. Insert the plug on the charging unit into a power socket
and turn the power on if required.
2. Plug the tool inside the ba ery output.
The above are 2 di erent charging methods shown based
on the ba ery model being used.
3. Process of charging ba ery pack:
When the red light is on, the ba ery has very low power.
When the red and yellow lights are on, then the ba ery
has more than half the energy. When the three lights are
on, the ba ery is fully charged.
4. USB function (additional feature of certain ba ery models):
Insert the USB plug of the device to the USB port
of the ba ery.
5. USING A DRILL
IMPORTANT: Before starting inspect your drill bit to ensure there is no excessive wear and that it is
sharp. Never use a drill bit if it is damaged or blunt.
Check that the drill bit is correctly fi ed in the chuck and is the correct type for the material you wish to
drill a hole in.
DRILLING WOOD
Ensure the piece of work you want to drill into is firmly anchored in place. Hold the drill in a straight line
with the end of the drill bit.
Apply enough pressure to keep the drill bit cu ing through the wood.
When drilling through wood with a twist bit it may over heat if you do not clean any chips and wood
dust out of the flutes (grooves in the drill bit).
