Removing
the
Network
Interface
Card
To remove the
Network
Interface Card
(NIC), complete
the following
steps:
1. Prepare the
computer for
disassembly.
2. Remove the
palmrest cover
with touchpad.
3. Remove the
keyboard.
4. Remove the
heatspreader.
5. Remove two
screws from the
Network
Interface Card,
lift the Network
Interface Card
off the system
board and
disconnect the
cable from the
Network
Interface Card.
To replace the
Network
Interface Card,
reverse the
previous
procedures.
