NOTICE The THUM Adapter and all other wireless devices should be installed only after the Emerson Wireless Gateway has been installed and is functioning properly. Wireless devices should also be powered up in order of proximity from the Gateway, beginning with the closest.

2.5 Device network configuration 2.5.1 Join device to network In order to communicate with the Emerson Wireless Gateway, and ultimately the Host System, the Emerson THUM Adapter must be configured to communicate over the ™ wireless network. This step is the wireless equivalent of connecting wires from a transmitter to the host system.

Join Key so that they match the Network ID and Join Key of the Gateway and other devices in the network. If the Network ID and Join Key are not identical, the Emerson Wireless 775 THUM ™ Adapter will not communicate with the network.
Adapter was configured with the Network ID and Join Key and sufficient time ™ for network polling has passed, the transmitter should be connected to the network.
