Alternatives: It's possible to have the remote Gateway R as a multi-port ModGate Plus. This is
especially required to attach Modbus devices communicating via RS232; in such a situation only
a single device per serial port is possible. For example a ModGate Plus 413 can connect to four
devices RS232, or fewer plus several other devices via RS485 on one port.
