GENERAL INFORMATION Definition of Tamping Rammer The Mikasa MTR-60L tamping rammer is a powerful compacting tool capable of applying a tremendous force in consecutive impacts to a soil surface. Its applications include soil compacting for road, embankments and reservoirs as well as backfilling for gas pipelines, water pipelines and cable installation work.

STORAGE When storing the rammer for long periods of time, thoroughly drain all fuel from the fuel line, carburetor, and engine. Remove the spark plug and put a few drops of motor oil into the cylinder and crank the engine several times by hand.
