OPERATING THE IGNITION (TURN TYPE)
TURNING ON

THE GAS COOKER
•
Gas cookers without SAFETY SENSOR:
i. Push in the ignition knob fully.
ii. Turn anti-clockwise towards
[ON]
the
position.
• Gas cookers with SAFETY SENSOR:
i. Push and turn anti-clockwise
[ON]
towards the
position.
(hold down for 5 seconds)
•
Release the knob and check if the
flame has been ignited. If no flame is
detected, turn the knob to
position and repeat the above steps.
•
When the burner has been ignited,
adjust the knob to achieve the
desired flame intensity.
Note:
It will take longer for ignition to occur
if the gas cooker has not been used
for installed for a long period of time.

• Turn the ignition knob clockwise
[OFF]
towards the
position.
You will then hear a 'CLICK' sound.
This is a signal that the gas cooker
has been correctly turned off.
NOTE :
Sometimes, a "POP" sound can
be heard when the burner is
turned off. This is normal.
