TROUBLESHOOTING

POSSIBLE
CAUSES
i.
The ignition knob is either not
pressed downward properly.
ii.
Main gas valve is not turned on.
iii.
It takes longer time to ignite
especially in the morning. Air
may be trapped in the gas hose.
iv.
Air is trapped in the gas hose when
the gas tank is either empty or
almost empty.
v.
Safety sensor/ ignition pin/
burner is dirty.
vi.
Control valve is blocked by
a build-up of impurities originating
from inside the gas cylinder.
vii.
Safety sensor may be incorrectly
assembled or positioned.
i.
Safety sensor / ignition pin /
burner is dirty.
ii.
The gas tank is empty or almost
empty.
iii.
Slits of the burner cap are clogged.
iv.
The burner cap is not capped
properly.
v.
Humidifier is being used in or near
the cooking area in the same room.
Gas hose is not properly connected.
i.
Cracks or pin holes on the hose.
ii.

SOLUTIONS
i.
Turn the knob to the "OFF" position.
Press down the knob fully and turn it
anti-clockwise slowly. Hold it down for
a few seconds until the flame is ignited.
ii.
Turn on the gas valve.
iii.
Turn the knob on and off a few times
to remove the trapped air.
iv.
Replace the gas tank.
v.
Remove the dirt and clean these
parts thoroughly.
vi. Send the gas cooker to the nearest
authorised Zenne dealer for servicing.
(Replace the old hose in case of any
sludge build-up)
vii. Contact our service team to reposition
the safety sensor.
i.
Remove the dirt and clean these
parts thoroughly.
ii. Replace the gas tank.
iii. Clean the cap with i.e. a soft brush.
iv. Ensure that the burner cap is correctly
placed back in position.
v. Switch off the humidifier.
i.
Check and ensure that the hose is
properly installed.
ii.
Replace the damaged hose with a
new hose.
