Motorola offers several different ROM software versions of the DSP56362 that are supported with this EVM. DSP56362 ROM versions are available to support technolo- gies from third party licenses, such as Dolby Laboratories™, and DTS™.

    INTRODUCTION This section describes the basic features, hardware description and installation of the DSP56362EVM (Evaluation Module). The manual also describes the equipment and software required. Code samples and self-test code are provided on an accompanying software diskette. The schematic diagram and parts of the Evaluation Module are included in this manual. This is a generic hardware/software configuration.

    OVERVIEW Feature Description FEATURE DESCRIPTION The DSP56362EVM is a low-cost platform for multichannel digital audio applications design, prototyping, and development. See Figure1-2.
