7. Remote monitoring
The Delta Battery Backup can be remotely monitored via four volt-free contacts, or an RS-485 serial port.

Volt-free contacts

The Delta Battery Backup features four volt-free (dry) contacts for connection to external devices such as a dial-out telemetry or
a building management system.
The volt-free contacts are intended for use with low voltage (SELV/ELV) circuits operating at a maximum of 1 amp.
The contacts can be either Normally Closed (NC) or Normally Open (NO) depending on the requirements of the system it is
connected to.
