Registering the C3050 portable

1. Open the portable's flap.
2. Press . The display shows MENU .
Press " or ' until the display shows Security : Off .

4. Press ON .
If the display shows Enter PIN , go to Step 5.
If the display shows Define PIN first , the previous owner of the
portable did not define a Personal Identification Number (PIN) for the
security lock feature.
a. Press PIN . The display shows Enter new PIN .
b. Enter any six-digit number. The display shows * for each number
entered.
c. Press Done . The display shows Enter it again .
d. Enter the same six-digit number from step b. The display shows * for
each number entered.
e. Press Done . The display shows Saved .
f. Close the portable's flap and repeat the procedure from step 1.
5. Enter the eight-digit master PIN.
Note: The master PIN may be on a sticker located on the back of the
portable.
6. Press DONE . The display shows Clear everything .
7. Press YES . The display shows No system selected .
Registering C3050 portables to a wireless telephone system involves using the
Administration Terminal and the C3050 portable.
