Assigning a PIN and setting up the app

After you have started your kick scooter for the first time, you will be asked to set your own
four-digit PIN. The current digit position in the PIN flashes. Press the "Plus" button or
the "Minus" button to change the number. Press the "On/Off" button to move to the next
number.
After entering your personal four-digit PIN, press the "On/Off" button. The numbers will
now flash for verification. Press the "On/Off" button again to confirm the PIN. Press the
"Plus" or "Minus" button to go back to the first digit and change the PIN.
This PIN is now stored in your kick scooter. Please remember the PIN and keep it in a safe
place. You will need the PIN to lock your scooter and use the menu.
Setting up the app
After entering the PIN for the first time, the kick scooter is automatically in pairing mode for
five minutes. This mode deactivates after five minutes or when the kick scooter is restarted.
You can activate pairing mode at any time from the menu as described on page 37.
When the scooter is paired with the app, the blue radio icon lights up.
Resetting the PIN
If you have forgotten your PIN, you can reset it. To do this, plug the scooter into its charger
and switch on the scooter. Then press the "Plus" and "Minus" buttons. Hold this combina-
tion for ten seconds. You can then assign a new PIN for your kick scooter.
