Deep-sleep mode
The lithium-ion battery offers a deep-sleep mode. This function is used to protect the bat-
tery from deep discharge. If the scooter is in deep-sleep mode, it cannot be started as usual
by pressing the "On/Off" button. To wake the scooter up from deep sleep mode, connect
the charger for approximately 15 seconds. The scooter will then be ready to use again as
usual.
Observe the instructions for protecting the battery described on page 12, as even the deep-
sleep mode cannot exclude the possibility of deep discharge.
Deep-sleep mode is activated depending on the battery charge level.
These are as follows:
Charge level: 80%–100%, no deep-sleep mode
Charge level: 40%–80%, deep-sleep mode after 30 days
Charge level: 20%-40%, deep-sleep mode after 7 days
Charge level: Less than 20%, deep-sleep mode after 48 hours
