M e n u f u n c t i o n s

card, select the profile you
want to change. Select from
the following settings:
Message centre number
save the phone number of
the message center that is
required for sending text
messages. You receive this
number from your service
provider.
Messages sent via
the message type: Text,
mail, Paging, or Fax.
Message validity
the length of time for which
the network attempts to
deliver your message.
Default recipient number
to save a default number for
sending messages for this
profile if you have selected
the message type Text.
Select
E-mail server
the e-mail server number if
you have selected the
message type E-mail.
Delivery reports
network to send delivery
reports about your
messages (network service).

Rename sending profile

The message profile sets are
only displayed if your SIM
card supports more than
one set. You cannot rename
the default profile.

initial send attempt does not
succeed.

Multimedia message settings

The message settings affect the
sending, receiving, and viewing of
multimedia messages.
You may receive the configuration
settings for multimedia messaging
as a configuration message. See
"Configuration settings service"
page 11. You can also enter the

on page 65.
