- Page 2 FURNITURE TIPPING RESTRAINT INSTRUCTIONS ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS 1. Determine the final position of the furniture piece. Mark locations on the wall approximately 2” below height of the iron brackets on the back of the furniture piece. 2. Drill starter holes into the wall stud. If wall studs are not available, drill holes into the wall and insert plastic anchors.
