General log

In the general log, for each communication event, you can see the sender or recipient name, phone number,
name of the service provider, or access point. Subevents, such as a text message sent in more than one part and
packet data connections, are logged as one communication event.
To view the general log, select
Menu
> Log, and scroll right.
To filter the log, select
Options
>
Filter
and the filter type.
To erase all the log contents permanently, select
Options
>
Clear log
> Yes.

Packet data counter and connection timer

To view how much data in kilobytes has been transferred and the approximate length of a certain packet data
connection, scroll in the general log to an incoming or outgoing event indicated by Pack., and select
Options
>
View
details.

Log settings

To set the general log settings, select
Options
>
Settings
and from the following settings:
Log duration
— The log events remain in the phone memory for a set number of days after which they are
automatically erased to free memory. If you select
No
log, all the log contents,
Recent calls
register, and
messaging delivery reports are permanently deleted.

Packet data counter

The packet data counter allows you to check the amount of data sent and received during packet data (GPRS)
connections.
To access the counter, select
Menu
>
Log
>
Packet
data.
