ReChargX™ RX167 Instructions
For use in the Samsung CLT-K409S, CLT-C409S, CLT-M409S,
These toner cartridges are most frequently found
in the Samsung CLP-315, CLP-315W, CLX-3175FN,
CLX-3175FW and all other machines using the
same "engine".
These toner cartridges are quite easy to refill
using our ReChargX™ RX167 Premium Print
Toner Refill Kits.
Within these ReChargX™ RX167 Premium
Print Toner Refill Kit instructions we will be
adding new toner and replacing the reset chip.
NOTE: We will be working with the CLT-K409S
cartridge throughout these instructions (figure
1). These instructions apply to all the cartridges
within this series.
Step 1: Orient the Toner Cartridge
Orient the cartridge on your work surface so the
toner covered roller of the toner cartridge will be
away from your chest and the handles toward
your chest (figure 2).
Step 2: Cover the Developer Roller
This step is recommended because the developer
roller is completely exposed and easy to damage
by scratching or contaminating with fingerprints,
affecting it's ability to create a quality image.
Tape a piece of paper to the top of the toner
cartridge, as shown in figure 3.
Note: Do not put tape on the roller.
