ReChargX™ RX077 Instructions
For use in the Canon L50 (6812A001AA) toner cartridge
The Canon L50 (6812A001AA) is the toner
cartridge most frequently found in the Canon
imageCLASS D660, D661, D680, D760, D761,
D780, D860, D861, D880, PC-1060, PC-1060,
PC-1080F, SmartBase PC-1210D, SmartBase
PC-1230D, SmartBase PC-1270D and all other
machines using the same underlying "engine"
(figure 1).
This toner cartridge is quite easy to refill using
our ReChargX™ RX077 Premium Print Toner
Refill Kit.
Within these ReChargX™ RX077 Premium
Print Toner Refill Kit instructions, we will be
adding new toner, removing the waste toner
and replacing the reset chip.

Step 1: Plug in the Hole-Making Tool

Plug in the hole-making tool included with the
ReChargX™ Tool Kit.
Turn the sand timer over and wait the full three
minutes before using the tool so it reaches
proper operating temperature; this ensures the
tool will easily penetrate the cartridge housing
(figure 2).

Step 2: Locating the Toner Hopper Hole

Place the cartridge down on a table with the
handle closest to your body like if you were
loading it back into the printer.
The toner hopper hole will be located in the lower
right corner where the embossed image of a
thermometer is found as shown by the circle in
figures 3a and 3b.
