ReChargX™ RX217 Instructions
For use in the Samsung SCX-4725F toner cartridge
This is the toner cartridge used in the Samsung
SCX-4725F and other machines using the same
underlying engine.
These cartridges are quite easy to refill using
our ReChargX™ RX217 Premium Print Toner
Refill Kit.
This cartridge is unusual in design (figure 1) with
a very long "handle" used to install the cartridge
into the printer.

Step 1: Locate the Imaging Drum

The imaging drum can be found on the underside
of the toner cartridge, simply flip the cartridge
over so that the blue/green imaging drum
(shown by the arrows in figure 2) is facing up
and the base of the handle is toward your body.

Step 2: Cover the Imaging Drum

The imaging drum is completely exposed and
easy to damage by scratching or contaminating
with fingerprints.
Before we start working with the cartridge we
will use a piece of paper to protect the imaging
drum which runs along the cartridge front.
Take a sheet of paper and tape it to the bottom
of the cartridge (as shown in figure 3), then fold
the paper down and over the imaging drum on
the leading edge of the cartridge.
